At LDR, we pride ourselves in our ability to make our own coffee, file our own paperwork and answer our own calls, so our interns can spend their time contributing to projects and gaining useful experience. Through this internship program, college and graduate students gain hands-on experience in various aspects of our business. Our interns are valued and trusted, and they contribute on a higher level and work on projects that matter!

After one week of work, what’s been your favorite part? My coworkers! We work in an open-environment office and it’s always lively in here. Whether it’s a trip to the national zoo or over lunch, I appreciate that my coworkers make it a genuine point to learn about each other’s lives. They’ve all had rich experiences, so it makes it easy for me to live vicariously through them!
One interesting fact about Clarisse: I speak 6 languages – including English, Malaysian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese and Korean. In my free time, I volunteer at the Biology Greenhouse!
