January 4, 2018

We are pleased to announce the hiring of Army Veteran, Dave Taylor, as the Director of Leadership and Business Operations. Dave comes to us directly from the US Army where he served for over 24 years, most recently leading an organization of 650 members where he and his team were responsible for rendering honors of our nation’s fallen at Arlington National Cemetery.

“Given Dave’s background, he is one of the most humble and influential leaders I’ve ever been around,” said LDR Principal Rich Sexton. “Dave brings years of experience and knowledge that will immediately impact LDR. LDR’s future just got a lot brighter with the addition of Dave and we are honored to have another US veteran joining our team.”

Before joining LDR, Dave served in the US Army where most of his time was spent operating within the U.S. Special Operational Forces (SOF) in the 75th Ranger Regiment and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Dave served as a Ranger Strike Force Commander and Task Force Commander where he led teams ranging from 200-600 members across eight combat operations in the Middle East. Dave also served in the Pentagon as a liaison for the JSOC, routinely briefing and influencing the decisions of the most senior military and civilian leaders.

In his spare time, Dave is passionate about the West Virginia Mountaineers (his Alma Mater), climbing mountains, working out, helping others, and spending time with his friends and family. He currently lives in Odenton, Maryland and is the father to two amazing kids, Allison (16) and Michael (14).
